Linux wireless assistant

Networking issues In the early days of WiFi linux users had to manually configure wireless networking issues using the iw* commands (iwconfig, iwspy etc...) which was actually very good as it served it's purpose as it should have and had no problems, but when offering linux as a desktop OS, users may find it a bit tiring to use command line everytime they wish to go online, which I know for a fact drove some users away from linux, wl assistant solves the problem for those users, and on top of that it is also very easy to use and actually a short cut for linux wifi...


wlassistant actually uses the iw* commands but has a really nice GUI which shows you the available LANs, whther they require authentication or no not and many more issues that took some time to configure using command line.
