how to display control characters in VIM
Posted on Sunday, February 03 @ 13:20:17 IST by admin

Linux OS issues Anonymous writes "it is often needed to display all control characters in vi or vim in order to delete or modify them, the is nothing more irritating then a ^M or a tab character in the way of some text but you cannot see it and tell it is causing an issue.

The solution is simple, open vi type
:set list
"
